This combined NARG/ Wildcare Wombat Course is for people who know little about wombats, but would like to care for them. It will deal with the issues of raising wombats, including basics of:

  •  rescue
  •  assessment
  •  caring needs
  •  feeding, housing, heating, hygiene, etc
  •  daily routine & changes as wombat grows
  •  equipment & facilities needed
  •  problems that may arise

NOT covered: 'pinky' wombat joeys.

A comprehensive handbook will be supplied.

BYO: Drinks, snacks & lunch (there are plenty of shops & cafés nearby).
